We definitely plan to stay at this cabin specifically in the future but I'd love to stay at any cabin they have bc they are so amazing to work with. Thanks Brenda and Charles!I suppose it’s understood that, when you claim Denver’s a great beer city, you really mean to include the whole metro area; while some of America’s finest ales and lagers are produced within the Mile High City’s limits, one would be remiss to omit Dry Dock Brewing Co. , Lone Tree Brewing Company, Big Choice Brewing, and a slew of other ‘burb brews. Perhaps that’s a testament to the greatness of Denver’s beer scene—even its satellites feature fantastic suds. One of those satellites—Wheat Ridge—has recently seen an especially significant spike in breweries; from zero breweries prior to November 2012 to one with the opening of Brewery Rickoli, this tiny town in the west end of the metro area now, already, boasts two breweries thanks to Colorado Plus or C+ for those who like to abbreviate. Until they have their own beer, C+ will operate as a craft beer bar featuring 56 draft beers all of which—I repeat “all of which”—pour beer made right here in the great state of Colorado. How many other beer bars can claim that?Don’t get me wrong, I love the Denver area’s other beer bars, too, because they all have great selection and they all serve up a lot of Colorado’s best beer but they also let “foreign” beers from California, Oregon, and elsewhere infiltrate their taplist. Again, I must say “don’t get me wrong” because I’m well aware that other states make great beer, too, but I am a staunch supporter of the drink local philosophy and I appreciate that C+ gives all its lovin’ to in state businesses. The building itself is full of cozy nooks and crannies all with clever design features like a chandelier made of beer bottles, a table made from 2x2s, a changeable collage composed of six pack holder artwork, a semi private fireplace alcove near the front door, and the upstairs area that feels like the new version of where your grandpa used to drink after The War: old, wooden bar, red, leather seats, and another big, black fireplace set near the back corner. There’re also a few picnic tables out front in the beer garden and a narrow game room with a foosball table and a Tekken arcade game. No matter what your mood or personality, C+ has a room to accommodate it.
